Wild Animal Park

On Thursday, July 30 (for those keeping track, that was our 2nd Wedding Anniversary), we all went to the Wild Animal Park in San Diego. We were exhausted from Sea World the previous day, but it was a much easier park to go through with than Sea World. There was alot of canopy shade and not a bad walk. All in all, we walked only about 2 miles that day.

One of our first stops was the gorillas, which she loved.




We also went into the South African Aviary, where they had a Scarlet Ibis.
And some beautiful parrots.

I like this family photo.Scarlet was amazed at all of the wild life.

She was also super excited on the Safari Ride.

This is inside the Lorikeet Aviary. These birds were very friendly (especially if you had food, which we did not.)
